CEDA’s 40th Anniversary

September 2019 marked the 40th anniversary of the Community Education Development Association. Past and present CEDA staff, alumni, community partners, and funders came together to celebrate the strength of our diverse community and our deep community roots, to share our current projects and initiatives, and to reflect on the future of our organization.

CEDA Pathways alumni and Board member, Mercy Achieng, shared her experiences growing up in our program and showcased that the wisdom and guidance in a community comes not only from our Elders, but youth as well. It is through ensuring all community members have a voice that we will continue to help communities help themselves.
